Like riding a bike…

Everyone’s favorite “thug-life” poet, Nikki Giovanni, is back with an awesome collection of love poems, Bicycles. I must admit that her last project, Acolytes, I wasn’t really a fan of. She was using an interesting, new style that involved way too many ellipses. But now she’s back to awesome, and I, for one, couldn’t be more thrilled.

Why is it called, Bicycles? (You know there has to be a reason…a profound reason, at that.)

Well on the cover page it states, “Bicycles: because love requires trust and balance.”

I don’t have anything else to say. Really.
