8.17.09 My Top Ten RIGHT NOW

This column marks the one year point of writing this weekly bit, and I must say that I simply cannot believe I’ve stuck to it (somewhere my parents are laughing at all the things I’ve started and never finished), and that people actually read it (or at least seem to carry on conversations with me that lead me to believe they read it).  It has been an absolute pleasure to share all of the insanity of my life condescend into little snippets of things I love, of things that make New York the only place to live, and more often than not, things I did and thus needed to write about because the number ten is by far larger than I ever knew it to be.

So thank you all for a great run, I look forward to continuing the grand tradition for another year filled with the things that make me and this city tick,  But in the immediate, the best one year anniversary gift I can give myself is a day off!  Be back to y’all in a week to start up again.
