I’m kind of stunned. This is so appalling.
I am also a long time fan of Harry Connick, Jr., someone I believe to be a truly gifted musician, composer and arranger. He also has deep ties to the black community and was one of the first people to hightail it to New Orleans immediately after Katrina hit. So glad he spoke up. Harry, you’re a class act.
It’s bizarre that the producers of this show approved this act to go on. What was with the girl being completely clueless to this being in poor taste? 7 and a flowery design? I’m not even sure where to begin with the levels of WTF.
