The sandwich is to food what America is to the world... a great but flawed superpower, a representation of a great idea, of the great diversity and equality that can be shoved between two pieces of bread (or fried chicken).   It can go forth in the service of great good or great evil.  Sloppy Joes... hmph.  Maybe a forthcoming Popten post could do the subject more justice.</description>
