Top Ten Songs For Being Home Away From Home http://t.co/JVNSKjQ1 #topten #poptenrewind @msh

Friday Round Up: went on a diet, got cranky, ate a bunch of mac & cheese, still feel cranky, edition.

Since when do 4 day weeks feel 45 times longer than 5 day weeks?

2. If you have kids (which, I don’t know a stranger who has kids could be reading this, I have no idea who’s out there in the internet world!) and want something hilariously adorable to entertain them check out Smories. It’s short web clips of kids (English kids, so accents!) reading stories written by kids. Super cute.

3. Speaking of kids. There was a kid on vacation who picked up a hair dryer and was saved by crocs, the shoes.

The paramedic said he was really lucky he was wearing Crocs shoes at the time as they stopped the electricity going through his legs and coming out of his feet and probably saved him from serious injury.

Awesome! More reason to wear my crocs!

4. Ok, I’ve never really committed to watching American Idol, but I have a pretty good idea who’s been on it and who’s won etc. I’ve also had no real strong opinion about Clay Aiken… until now. Clay Aiken, you are hilarious, and charming and fun! Watch this interview:

I also really enjoyed all the old midwestern ladies freaking out when he came out of the closet. I read some awesome comments when it happened that were like “I’ve been up crying and praying all night! I’m so upset and sad and I don’t know what to do blah blah jesus save Clay!” hahahaha. I mean, really?

5. Speaking of… you know… Guess who this is! Click HERE to find out!

6. There are few things I enjoy more than an old fashioned sports rivalry! So I just wanted to announce from the future that the Blackhawks are gonna win the Stanley Cup. Me, and this lion totally agree.

7. Click HERE and just let the site go for a few seconds, you won’t regret it! I know that sounds shady, but DO IT.

8. TFLN which is usually awesome is currently promoting the movie “Killers” and posting crappy fake texts like this:

(213): So after 4 years of marriage, guess what I found out about Spencer?
(310): What?
(213): He’s a SPY!!!
(310): That’s a bad thing?

Somehow I’m wildly offended, even though I kind of think that if I was friends with someone as awful as Kathrine Heigel she would A. tell me big news over text, and B. not realize that you probably shouldn’t tell people that your husband is a spy over text message.

9. Tons of videos this week! I’m really loving these Larry King – Lady Gaga interviews. She’s pretty awesome…

My friend the other day told me that he was in the NYU talent show in like 2003 and he was second to Lady Gaga when she was just Stephanie… hilarious.

10. Finally in honor of my good friend Rue here’s the best of Blanche! I hope they allow shoulder pads in heaven!
